L’accent de L’idéal -ラクソン ド リデアル- はじめます。

L’idéalのモデルとなった方々からのインスピレーションと、
Photographer MASAの活動休止中の経験から、
新しい試みとして、服づくりをはじめました。

展示会、よければ遊びに来てください。

先日のパーティでの、スナップを少し。

ドレスコードは「エスニックっぽい感じ」。
「持っていないわよ」なんて、最初は言っていたけど、
何だかんだで、ワンポイントでも入れてくる。
「押入れの奥から引っ張り出してきたわ～」という方もいたり。

そういえば、日本ってこういうドレスコードを指定するような、
着飾ったパーティというか、飲み会というか、食事会みたいのって少ない気がする。

オンとオフ＝平日と休日での服装の区別をつけるだけじゃなく、
休日の中にもっと色んなシーンがあれば、装うことってもっとハリが出て楽しくなるんだろうな。

These are the photos from the party. The theme of the day was “Ethnic”.

Parties like these are not common in Japan.
Personally I would like to see more parties like these with dress codes, where everybody is expressing their individuality, and enjoying flaunting their beautiful clothes.

Over60 Street Snap Project — L’idéal —

約２年半ぶり、リデアルの活動を再開します。

これまでのストリートスナップはのんびり続けつつ、
これからは、新しい試みもやっていこうと思っています。

久しぶりに、モデルさんたちにお会いして
変わった人もいれば変わっていない人もいて、
自分も含め、改めて人それぞれだな～と感じた今日この頃。

これから先、どんな出会いがあるか。
新しい動きを起こす中で、楽しみ。

さて、ブログはこれまで通りの遅い更新頻度でマイペースに続けていきます。
出版はすごーく大変なので、もういいかな(笑)
どうぞ、今後ともよろしくお願いします。

We would like to announce that we are restarting our activities after our 2 and a half year break.

On top of the street snaps we have been shooting, we have something new coming your way.
It will be announced soon, so look forward to that.

In the mean time, please enjoy my street snaps and, look forward to L’idéal’s new project.

とっても嬉しくて。

街で出会った、Over60の彼女たちのストリートスタイルを掲載。
そのほぼすべてが、ブログで未紹介の方々です。

ーファッションはあくまで、ファッションに過ぎない。ー

伝えたいことは、
彼女たちの中にある、おっきな宇宙。
それぞれが違う、道を辿ってきて。
それぞれが違う、世界をもっていて。
装いも生き方も、正解なんてない。

齢を重ねた彼女たちは、
何を想い、何を考え、生きるのか。
その装いの裏に隠された、人生のエッセンスを垣間見る。

その佇まいに、その言葉に、
これからの人生を想ってほしい。
そして、自分自身と優しく向き合うきっかけになってくれれば…。

すべては、恰好良く歳を重ねるために。

In this photo book, you can see street snaps of ladies who are over 60’s that we’ve met. Most of the pictures are not introduced on our blog yet.

– Fashion is just fashion –

What we want to deliver is giant universe they have in their mind.
Everybody went through different paths.
Everybody has different world.
There is no such a thing to be “right” to wear and live a life.

Do you know what senior ladies feel, what they think, and how they live through aging?
You can find an answer in our book. The answer will be hidden behind the curtain of their fashion.

I wish this would be an opportunity to take time to face yourselves and have hope in your continuing life influenced by their atmosphere and words.

雑踏に埋もれるわけでも、
雑踏で光り輝くわけでも、
なくて。

“渋い”とか、そんな形容では収まらない。
まるで、彼女の生き様をそのまま見せつけられたような、そんなスタイル。

Her fashion style is something like showing way she lives.
You can’t put adjective on her style although people would tend to put the word ‘Shibui’ (it means bitter or cool) .

Not buried in the hustle and bustle of a city.
Not glittering in the hustle.

She is just there.

彼女の基本は、白。
自分本位の選択じゃなくて。
それは、あくまで周囲への心遣いから。
「白って、誰に対してもどんな場面でも、当たり障りないと思うのよ。」

Her basic color is white, not by her choice.
She choose white color because she cares for other people.
“I believe that white is inoffensive to people”
The reason why she wears white clothes is that black clothes brings dark impressions and that using too much bright color makes people think the colors are annoying.

上着は、帯布からつくったもの。
必ず、和のテイストを入れるのが彼女のスタイル。

The outer wear she wears is made by kimono obi.
Her style is always wearing Japanese-style.

そんな彼らのスタイルが、そのまま彼らの人柄を表しているようで。
2人の間柄にもまた、朗らかな優しさを垣間見る。

I have met a couple who has a good taste in clothes.
They put their outfit naturally and flawlessly.

As a couple, they enjoy their fashion together.
Their fashion style is matching in a great way and I can see that their relationship goes well :)

取材のために集まった、4人。

Here are 4 ladies who came to meet me for an interview.

街に出れば、人は溢れていて。
一人一人が、とっても小さい存在に感じるけど。
一人一人は、こうも大きく違うものなんだ。

流行が決める社会の‘制服’、身を包めば安心する。
でも、如何にそこから距離を置くかが大切で。
その距離こそが、その人のスタイルを表し、そしてその人の個性なんだと思う。

There are so many people out here in Tokyo.
Although each single person is just small presence, everybody is different.

People tend to feel secure when they follow ‘trend’.
I believe that the trend is the uniform decided by society.
The important thing is how you can make a distance from ‘it”
How far you can go becomes your style and personality.

着飾るんじゃなくて、さっと自然に纏う。
そんな姿勢が、彼女を魅力的にする。

It is not so much dressing up, but wear clothes naturally.
The attitude makes her much charming.

過剰な装飾は、必要なくて。
大切なのは、自分自身そのものでいられること。

It is not necessary to dress up too much.
The important thing is being yourself.
